Spicy snack that goes well with green chutney.
One measure of urad dal, three measures of rice, one tablespoon methi grains
Soak both dal and rice for eight hours. Grind separately dal and methi grains into smooth paste and rice coursly. Add both into a mixture of dropping consistency. Keep the yeruppa pan on the fire. The pan consists of seven hollow cups. Pour the mixture in the separate cups greased with oil and fry till they become crisp. Turn over and fry the other side crisp. Serve with green cocoanut chatni.
