What is it?
Bundi ladoos are prepared for special occasions like weddings and on Diwali festival
What you Need
One cup of Bengal gram flour,one spoonful of oil and half a
cup of sugar for making syrup.
How to make it
Put the fried pearls in the syrup and
make six round balls by taking the small amount of mixture in hand
and pressing with both hands till it becomes firm
- (Ladoos) Mix flour with a pinch of salt and oil. Make the batter adding water
to it. The batter should be of pouring consistancy. Put the frying
pan with oil for frying on medium heat. Pour the batter in the
mould. The mould is a pan with small holes all over. Hold the mould
over the frying pan and give small jerks to the mould so that the
batter falls in the frying pan in the shape of small pearls. Take
out the pearls when they turn brown
- (Syrup) Mix half a cup of sugar with 1/4th cup of
water and boil it for five minutes. Put a drop of sugar syrup on the
plate for tasting. It should stand firmly and should not get
smeared. The syrup is ready.
